One Voice Wales, the representative body for community and town councils in Wales, is looking to recruit an exceptional leader.
As the chief executive you will develop the strategic direction of the organisation, ensure the delivery of high quality services to member councils and maintain close liaison with the Welsh Assembly Government and other key partners in local government and the health, voluntary and private sectors.
You should: have a sound knowledge of local government in Wales; relevant professional or management experience; excellent communication and presentation skills, including basic oral Welsh; and be willing to work outside normal hours.
Following the end of the current chief executive’s secondment this is an exciting opportunity to interface with government at all levels, continuing to develop the role of the sector in developing and delivering public services that meet our communities’ needs.
