BBC Wales - New Nation TV Programme - Participants Required
Mentorn Cymru is a major supplier to BBC Wales from its offices in Cardiff and Llanelli. We have already made seven series for BBC Wales and have been commissioned to make two more series in 2011/2012, New Nation, Series 2 and Swansea: Living on the Streets, which we will make with our new co-production partner POP1, part of the Tinopolis Group.
BBC Wales are making a documentary series called NEW NATION. We are looking for four stories and would like to follow families/ individual migrant people living and working in Wales. By following them, we will show how the landscape of Wales is changing, celebrate diversity and also overturn preconceptions about Welsh national identity.
We are keen to follow stories such as a mixed race wedding, a third generation family story, maybe someone who is seeking asylum in Wales. We would like to follow the journey of that person over the next few months.
